Georgia Rose Personal Training

Buyer Guide

What to Expect From Your First Personal Training Session

Nervous about the first session? Do not be. Here is exactly what happens, start to finish, so you know what you are walking into.

The best place to start with Georgia is the assessment and first workout. It is built for people who have never trained before as much as for anyone returning after a long break. Here is how the hour goes.

1

A real conversation first

Georgia starts by asking about your goals, your history, past injuries, and what has and has not worked before. No judgment, no test. This is where the plan starts to take shape.

2

A movement and fitness baseline

A short assessment of how you move: strength, mobility, and any limitations. It tells Georgia where to start and gives you a clear picture of your own starting point.

3

Your first real workout

A full 40-minute session scaled to exactly where you are today, whether that is your first-ever workout or a return after years away. You will work, but you will not be wrecked.

4

A 20-minute coaching check-in

The last stretch of the hour is conversation: what felt good, what was hard, and what to adjust. This is the part most trainers skip, and it is where the real coaching happens.

5

A plan for what comes next

You leave with an outline of your custom program, so you always know what the next session looks like and why.

That is the whole session. No surprises, no pressure, and no expectation that you arrive already fit. If you want to see the different ways you can train with Georgia, look at in-home, outdoor, and online training. Wondering about cost first? Here is what a trainer costs in Fredericton.

Common Questions

What should I wear and bring?

Wear something you can move in and have water nearby. That is it. Georgia brings the program and any small equipment. For in-home sessions you need a clear space about the size of a yoga mat.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. A large share of Georgia's clients are starting from scratch or returning after years away. The first session is an assessment, not a test, and every movement is scaled to your level with no ego and no judgment.

How long is the first session?

The assessment and first workout is the best starting point at $99. It runs a bit longer than a regular session because it includes the full intake conversation and the movement baseline on top of your first workout.

What if I have an injury or a health condition?

Tell Georgia during the intake. She programs around injuries and limitations regularly and will adjust or scale anything that does not feel right. If something needs medical clearance first, she will say so.

Where does the first session happen?

Wherever suits you: your home, a Fredericton park or the riverwalk, or online via Zoom. You choose when you book.
