Where I Work Out

A Trainer Who Trains

You should know your coach lives this, not just teaches it. Here is where I train in Fredericton, what I work on, and why it matters for the programs I build for you.

Train With Georgia
Georgia Rose, personal trainer in Fredericton NB

The best trainers are students of their own training. I hold a Health, Wellness and Fitness Diploma from Mohawk College, but the credential is only the start. I train almost every day, I compete with myself, and I keep learning from how my own body responds. That is what I bring to your sessions: programming tested on the person writing it.

My Two Home Bases in Fredericton

Strength and conditioning

GoodLife Fitness, Northside

This is where Georgia lifts heavy and trains hard most days. Barbell work, progressive overload, and the kind of consistent strength base that lets her coach everyone from a first-timer to an experienced lifter. She trained on the gym floor at GoodLife in Hamilton before moving to New Brunswick, so the environment is second nature.

Mobility and recovery

Prana Hot Yoga, Fredericton

Strength is only half of it. Georgia practices yoga regularly at Prana Hot Yoga to keep her own mobility, balance, and recovery in check. It is also where her mobility-first mindset comes from, the same approach she builds into client programs so range of motion and joint health are never an afterthought.

Where It Started

My training roots run deeper than a gym membership. I started wrestling in grade 10 and trained with the Brock University wrestling team, then took up MMA in Hagersville under coach Cru Alin at Profit MMA. Combat sport teaches you to be coachable, to manage your body under pressure, and to respect technique over ego. That background shapes how I coach: hard work, yes, but always with proper movement first.

Why You Do Not Need a Gym

Here is the part that surprises people: I use a gym for my own training, but you do not need one for yours. The gym is a tool for the kind of heavy, specialized work I do. For most clients, the goal is functional strength, better mobility, weight loss, and consistency, and all of that can be built at home, outdoors, or online. I take what I learn from my own training and translate it into a program that fits your space and your life.

That is the whole idea behind training with me: serious coaching, delivered at your home, outdoors around Fredericton, or online via Zoom. No facility required.
